The gap we couldn't unsee
This company started with a pattern that kept repeating in conversations with executives. Engagement dashboards were green, the leadership offsite was well-reviewed, the strategy deck was crisp — and one CEO said the quiet part out loud: “I care less about engagement scores and more about whether my strategy actually gets executed.”
He wasn't dismissing his people. He was pointing at a gap. Everything his company used to develop leaders lived in one world — HR tools, surveys, training content — and everything he was accountable for lived in another. Nothing connected how his managers led to whether the work happened.
Meanwhile, the managers in the middle were getting the worst of both worlds: dashboards that described their teams without helping them, reviews that arrived too late to change anything, and career conversations they were expected to nail with no context and no practice. The people with the most leverage over engagement — and, by Gallup's math, most of its variance — had the least support.
Leadership Intelligence is the system we wished those companies had: behavioral insight that makes development personal, team signals that respect privacy absolutely, development built on two voices instead of one verdict, and a line from all of it to the strategy the CEO actually recognizes. AI runs all through it — as a co-pilot with sources, never an autopilot with opinions.
What we believe
Managers are the leverage point. Not because they're the problem — because they're where culture and results actually meet, every week, in 1:1s.
Software should make humans better, not optional. Every insight ends with something a person does. A tool that replaces judgment deskills the people it claims to develop.
Trust is architecture, not a policy page. Aggregate-only signals, non-scored calibration, provenance on every suggestion — designed in from the first line, because they can't be retrofitted later.
